Resources for translating contracts (1): La traducción de los contratos

Here’s an excellent resource (in Spanish) on translating contracts from Spanish to English and vice versa:

La traducción de los contratos (inglés – castellano y castellano – inglés) — Elementos teóricos y traducciones comentadas by Luisa Fernanda Lassaque (book in pdf format)

Written more for translating from English to Spanish, it is also worth looking out for those of us translating in the other direction.

It’s very thorough and covers most of the usual elements found in contracts, including common clauses, terms and major problem areas. There is a wealth of practical knowledge here.
